I chose this medium to create the picture so that it had a base color that was not very precise and then I could go in over it and add details and texture with colored pencils. Allowing for a base color and detail.
2. For my "two-in-one" piece I combined a deer and a tree. Making the deer's antlers the branches of the tree. 3. To start my piece I found inspirational photos to give me ideas on what to do. I then found a picture of a deer and a image of a tree that I wanted to combine. I started in my sketchbook and drew a draft of my piece. I then tested the medium that I was going to use on my final project. I then got watercolor paper and drew the deer in pencil. I then painted over it in water color. After I painted the base I went over it in color pencil adding detail and colors to make the piece more defined. I then painted the background blue with sky and used blotching. That was the steps I used to create my piece.
